This was indeed the problem: in one place I had used "c=UK", and in
another "c=GB".  I'd suppose that GB (Great Britain) might exclude
Northern Ireland whereas UK (United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland) includes it, were it not for the fact that
ldapfriendly doesn't contain an entry for Northern Ireland.  *shrug*
