Solaris 8 and PAM-Authentification
Hello,
I'm actually setting up some Sun Solaris 8 Workstations and want them to
authenticate against an OpenLDAP-Server. On Solaris 7 I had to set up
the nss_ldap.so and pam_ldap.so myself so I used the /etc/ldap.conf as
described. Solaris 8 has these Files already built in, but I was missing
the ldap.conf. According to the Answerbook I have to use a tool named
ldapclient to set up the Solaris 8 machine as a LDAP-client. But I get
always connection Errors. Has anybody already successfully set up an
Solaris 8 client to autenticate against LDAP? How does it work?
bye, Kiwi
