Re: Directory database design
I'm quite disappointed that nobody answered my question. It is
included bellow. Is it my too basic? was it already too many times
answered here?
well, I'll have to try somewhere else..

Subject: Directory database design
Hi,
Could someone point me to documentation on designing and
implementing a directory database? I've already read the examples from
the "Database creation and maintenance tools" document at openldap.org
but it does not explain the architecture/structure of the database and
what their dc, cn, objectClass, etc serve for.
Also, I would like to know if the entries on a directory will depend on
the applications that will access it? I mean, if I want to install a SMTP
service (sendmail for example) should I look what entry names (on the
directory) sendmail will look for?
Thanks in advance,
