That particular test was done with a 4.73 Win32 English Version.
The server is OpenLDAP 2.0-ish (actually, taken from CVS HEAD
as of April 11th).  I don't have any specific charset setting.
HTML pages default to ISO-8859-1 and directories (the 'csid')
default to UTF-8.  That particular directory is set to UTF-8
in prefs.js too.

But it does no make much of a difference what version I
use.  Every version works for me and one hundred users
here and has worked for ages, except that prerelease I
mentioned (I also reported it).  Unless we are talking
different things.

Now, if someone explained to me how the different MS thingies
decide what charset to use...
