integerOrderingMatch

I have an application that needs to use a "<=" or ">=" as part of the
search filter.
OpenLDAP 2.0.6 doesn't have integerOrderingMatch implemented yet.
Where can I find information on how to implement this matching rule?
Is anyone else working on something like this?
