You are dreaming...  ldapadd() performance should be similiar.  If
you are seeing a signficant difference, you likely have some significant
configuration difference (dbcachenowsync or database bdb2).

slapadd may be a little faster than ldif2ldbm but slower than
ldif2id2entry.
