(ITS#4666) -d ? says: unrecognized log level "?"

According to the Administrator's Guide (but not the slapd(8) man page), 

  When level is a `?' character, the various debugging levels
  are printed and slapd exits, regardless of any other options
  you give it.

This feature does not seem to be implemented, e.g.,

# /usr/sbin/slapd -d '?'
unrecognized log level "?"
