Re: Reinstate BINDDN in contrib programs (ITS#391)



Isn't this functionality provided by ldap.conf(5) or ud.conf(5)?
If not, the applications should be adapted to support the runtime
file based configuration.

Wouldn't you rather have runtime configuration of applications?

ldapconfig.h.edit, hopefully, will soon be history (or at least
only used to set infrequently adjusted parameters).
