Debugging database crashes

 I have a freshly built system db-5.2.36 and openldap-2.4.23.

I keep seeing these entries in slapd.log:

hdb_db_open: database "": unclean shutdown detected; attempting recovery.

hdb_monitor_db_open: monitoring disabled; configure monitor database toenable

slapd starting

Any hints on tracing what is crashing and why?
