This move had no effect:
root@ubuntu3:~# mv /etc/ldap/ldap.conf /etc/ldap/ldap.conf.bak
root@ubuntu3:~# ln -s /etc/ldap.conf /etc/ldap/ldap.conf
root@ubuntu3:~# su - bluethundr
bluethundr@ubuntu3:~$ sudo bash
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting
