Re: Active Directory schema into OpenLDAP

Actually, my primary requirement is to create users directory. I already have an AD but I am not allowed to use that directory, so I have to create a new one, which will snyc it self on weekly bases.

For that, what i was thinking is to use OpenLDAP and get all users into it.
I do not need anything other thn users information.

Thanx for your replies.
Can you provide any example or tutorial link. I am totally new to LDAP world.

Indeed.  If you want a mostly-AD like schema for OpenLDAP, then use
Samba4's 'in a box' setup of OpenLDAP, and extract back out the schema
we came up with.  At least that has been tested, and the various
conflicts (there are many!) have been resolved.
