No, the database remains as is, the extracted ldif file is just a copy
of the database content. If you want to remove the database, you have
to delet the *.bdb files in the database directory.
Really, you should run the db_recover binary from the BDB release your
OpenLDAP was linked against, and then delete the *.bdb files and the log.*
files (wherever you have them stored via DB_CONFIG for your database).
