Just use the accesslog overlay, and configure it to log to a back-perl
instance. (You could use back-shell too I suppose, but that's not really a
good idea.) back-sock would also be a safe choice.
You could use a perl script based off of Net::LDAPapi as a delta-syncrepl
client listening to an accesslog DB.
That's a few moving parts more than necessary...
