Refferals not working

Hello,

I have a master and slave server with syncreplication using ldap version
2.3.20. I have set referral to master server in the slave server. But
when I make any changes in the salve server, I didn't get that updated I
get the below message

ldap_modify: Referral (10)
        referrals:
               
ldap://192.168.0.203/cn=sadique,ou=contacts,dc=srtachyonldap,dc=com

ldap://192.168.0.203/cn=sadique,ou=contacts,dc=srtachyonldap,dc=com

Does Referrals work fine with syncrepl? Or any problems? Can anybody
help me?
