Ok, but I think that it's not great to change such a behavior on a minor
release.
In a stable environnement, I would not use openldap 3.0 in place of 2.2,
even 2.3 in place of 2.2. But I could not imagine that such a
configuration directive could disapear between 2.2.23 and 2.2.29, and
less if there's no mention about it into the CHANGES file. I thought
that minor releases were there just for bug fixing and security. Surely,
I was wrong.
