Hi All,

I have a question on the slapo-accesslog in OL 2.3.13.

Does it overlay impact slapd performance when turned on?

slapo-accesslog forces writes to a server to be single threaded. I only put it in place on my master, where there are only two applications that ever write to the master. If you have a large number of write agents, it could severely impact performance. It also has the normal impacts of any other database backend -- It creates log files and has to have a database to write to, so as much as that affects IO and resources, it'll affect the server performance.
