port 389 not present while slapd is running
ldapsearch -x
will get "ldap_bind: Can't contact LDAP server (-1)".
389 is not in the output of "nmap localhost".
"telnet localhost 389" got refused.
slapd doesn't give any error message when starting and stopping.
This openldap-2.2.26 server has been running fine for some time now. All I did was to patch the result.c file, but even I copied the old slapd back I get the same situation.
What's wrong?
