Expected. The 2.2 version of slapd(8) implements an early
revision of the LDAPprep string preparation profile for
caseIgnoreMatch matching.   Per this revision, (cn=rol *)
is equivalent to (cn=rol*).

The 2.3 versionof slapd(8) implements the latest revision
of the LDAPprep string profile, where these are not equivalent.
