Re: schema change procedure

I am about to extend our production schema to add a few
intra-organizational values. I have 2.0.22 running ldbm backend on a
master with two configured slurpd slaves.
As a site note, OpenLDAP 2.0.22 is absolutely ancient and full of bugs. On
top of that, the ldbm database is not the most stable thing in the world.
I would advise, as you have time, investigating upgrading to OpenLDAP 2.2
and switching your DB to something more stable, like bdb or hdb.
