db_archive -d error

Hi at all
I have a problem when I run db_archive -d ot remove transaction log
file.
This is the message
Db_archive: Berkeley DB library configured to support only DB_PRIVATE
environments.
I have found that the problem could be in compile options
--enable-posixmutexes(that I used!!) on berkeley-db.
Is it true? Could I resolve the problem to re-compile my db-4.2.52
without the --enable-posixmutexes?And If so
I will recompile also openldap?
I 'm using
openldap-2.2.17
Db-4.2.52
On slackware-10.
