Hello everyone,

I'm planning to upgrade OpenLDAP 2.2.11 to 2.2.17. The berkeley DB I
plan to compile is the same (with no new patches to it or anything).
Therefore, do I need to rebuild the DB when I'm done or can I simply use
the existing DB files?

Assuming you aren't switching OSes, you should be able to use the existing DB files. Why are you compiling BDB again if you already have a compile of it?

Also, I suggest getting 2.2.18 plus the patches from my page.
