rebuild db on upgrade?

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to upgrade OpenLDAP 2.2.11 to 2.2.17.  The berkeley DB I
plan to compile is the same (with no new patches to it or anything). 
Therefore, do I need to rebuild the DB when I'm done or can I simply use
the existing DB files?
