RE: Problem Alias with bdb database



Make sure that when running configure

  - the headers (CPPFLAGS env variable)
  - the libraries for linking (LDFLAGS)
  - the libraries for run-time loading (system dependent; on Linux,
LD_LIBRARY_PATH)

of the desired version of Berkeley are visible by the compiler/loader.
