| mmmm, maybe pGina is what I'm looking for:
I would much rather install one piece of softare on the server (samba)
than install client software on hundreds of machines (even in the case
of imaging machines), plus
samba+openldap has more features than pgina will ever allow (think
things like point-and-print driver installation).
