Re: Using OpenLDAP

I requried OpenLDAP as a dep on other software, but I was looking at the
docs the other night, and was wondering, what do YOU use OpenLDAP for?
I'm not quite sure I see much of a use for it for me, but maybe you have
an inspiring idea...
Just to name a few things, we use OpenLDAP for mail delivery (about 2.5+
million queries a day to the directory servers occur for mail delivery),
access permissions to web sites (http://webauth.stanford.edu), online
directory information (http://stanfordwho.stanford.edu), and person
information retrieval for applications.
We also have plans to store our course information and overall
organizational data in the directory as well.
