Re: Quick Start Guide - newbie question



Try www.thinstall.com and look in their free samples area.  They've got a 1.1MB 
executable that includes bash, gawk, sed, tar, less, etc. without needing any 
special directory structures, libraries, or installation procedures.  Works 
with Windows 95,98,ME,NT,2k, and XP according to their web page....
