I think this is a clear case of one
hearing "apples" when the other said
"oranges".

The naming attributes are those in the
RDN; so Kurt meant that there's no need
to add the "dc: com" value because it's
not in the RDN (by the way, AFAIR "dc"
is single-valued, so this is another
error in that example)

Your example simply doesn't work because,
for what I can get from your mail,
"qwidoApp" is an objectClass, so its
use as an attributeType in an attribute
value assertion is totally meaningless.
