Re: GUI Tools (perhaps [OT] by now?)

While I'm not a huge fan of attacking/flaming people who post
questions, I think it's worth pointing out that the substance
of Tonni's original answer didn't really differ that much
from Michael's (though Michael did admittedly provide
a little more info). That is to say, they both said that
in order to do what Jason wanted, he'd best be able to
solve things if he learned about what's "under the hood"
and built a custom application himself. (which is
what most of us have done as far as I can tell)

I've found that Tonni's posts are often insightful and I
usually find myself learning some new stuff when I read
something from him. I'm happy to put up with
rhetoric/hostility/whatever in order to get that info.

So Tonni, whether you choose to tone it down or not,
please don't stop posting :-]

Doesn't seem like Michael Stroder needed him to rephrase his
original question to provide a sensible answer. Maybe you
need to either check your attitude at the door or take a reading
comprehension course.

Thanks for your utterly useless opinion and your poor attitude. If you're
not going to offer your expertise in a constructive manner or provide

suggestions, you shouldn't bother replying to the mail list.

Examine your original question and rephrase it, and you'll get a
sensible answer.

Happy New Year!

Same to you ;)
