Re: System Auth using LDAP -- ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: No such attribute (16)

Are you really using SASL? If that's not the case try to add -x to the ldapmodify command

I am following the processes documented for System Auth Using LDAP and I
have set up my OpenLDAP 2.1.22 with the following schema includes in
slapd.conf.

core.schema
misc.schema
cosine.schema
rfc2307bis.schema

I have executed the the migrate_passwd.pl /etc/passwd /var/tmp/passwd.ldif
command. My ldif appears to be good. I then execute the following
ldapmodify command:

ldapmodify -W -a -D "cn=Manager,dc=my-domain,dc=org" < /var/tmp/passwd.ldif

Upon executing I get the following error:

ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: No such attribute (16)

I have set my loglevel to -1 and I still don't see any information that
would assist me in determining what this problem is. I have verified that
every attribute in my ldif is found in one of the above schema. Anyone out
there have an idea what is going on here and how to address it?

Thanks!
