I performed some benchmarks on 2.1.22 with DB 4.1.25, basically bulk loading, and
it performed very well after tuning the DB_CONFIG file. You can find my numbers in the
mailing list archives.

I didn't do (yet) a line by line benchmark regarding that table, however.
