RE: Error in certificate

This is what I have in my server-cert.pem file
Subject: DC=local, DC=enatel, CN=debian-ldap.enatel.local

I guess that was "cn" you meant, not "dn"
I have this host name in my ldap.conf, used by ldapsearch

This host name is not in the DNS but it is in the /etc/hosts file
