I am fairly new to LDAP, and I am looking for a definitive HOWTO that describes the configuration of an LDAP directory to replace passwd and shadow. I would also like to create home directories without having to use useradd. My ultimate goal is to integrate LDAP authentication with Samba. tia, cmc
