memory ratio for bdb set_cachesize vs. openldap cachesize attributes

Hi,

Berkeley DB has a set_cachesize attribute in the DB_CONFIG file and openldap has a cachesize attribute in the slapd.conf file.  If I use a large size for BDB's set_cachesize, should I still specify a large cachesize attribute in the slapd.conf file?  What is a good ratio of memory to assign to bdb's cache and openldap's cache?
