Remember that you will have to point your directives to the place you have installed the BDB, so if its in /my/db then

	CPPFLAGS="-I/my/db/include" LDFLAGS="-L/my/db/lib"

	So try that first !

I am running FreeBSD 4.6.2

would a lower version of Berkeley work?
