I think this message is quite self-explanatory.
If you don't agree, I suggest you read the
quick installation guide, which clearly states
what prerequisite software is required to build
2.1.17; if that's not enough yet, you'll find
exaustive discussions on this topic in the mail
archives and in the FAQ.
