getting CRLs from LDAP server

Hi,

  I wanted to get the CRLs stored in LDAP server by common Certificate 
Authorities. What are the informations to be provided in the ldap query?
  bind request - Can I make the query with anonymous binding?
  search request -
        The base object for searching -
            what will I give for the base object? The DN present as
            the issuer on the CRL?
        Attribute of interest - certificateRevocationList
