Is the "experimental default referral service for DC style DNs" described in - http://www.openldap.org/lists/openldap-software/200005/msg00219.html - still an operational/on-going "project"? Anyone have any idea how many organizations publish public SRV records and/or provide public directory service? It sounds like an AWESOME idea, and something that would be useful, but I'm curious if it has any traction.
