RE: ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Can't contact LDAP server (81)



ok i have worked out this has nothing to do with ipfilters and firewalls ,
the slapd is not binding to the port specified and is not showing up in
netstat hence why i cant connect to it , anyone else experience this ?

I always thought it was to do with checking the file system: Read The
Fscking Manual. But maybe I'm wrong.

Sorry I took so long to reply. Do 'netstat -tupan' and you'll see what
ports are in use. '* -tupa' will show you the service names.
