I have the BDB 4.1.24 in /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1 and I've added the library
path to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig. my configure was just:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local

Is there something extra I should be adding to make it look for the BDB libs in
that weird directory?
