Diane,

This ought to work, if you don't have a similar DN already. I've just
tried precisely the same sort of ldif add and had no problem.

However, check that you don't have an extra white space or tab at the
end of any of the newentry lines.

If it doesn't work then, I honestly don't know - though all my
experience has been with 2.1, not 2.0.
