A little bit of help

 I've setup openLDAp from rpm. I was trying to find some normal docs on 
the web but unfortunately couldn't find any good one. Hence, stupid 
questions:
slapd is up and running but when I open any admnstration utility it can 
connect to the ldap server but cannot see base structure.
So my question is:
After installing openldap and configuring slapd.conf-are there any steps 
involved,like creating a ldif file that desribes the ldap structure?
Pls help.
