Search and filter problem
Hi everyone,
I'm having a serious search filter problem and I don't know what/if I'm
doing wrong.
I'm using OpenLDAP 2.0.23 on RedHat linux 7.3 and the Netscape Java SDK.
The issue I'm having is that none of the filter using >=, <= seem to work.
For instance,
when I'm searching my directory using the filter (uid=b*), I'm getting
two results "bill" and "bob"
But,
when I'm searching my directory using the filter (uid >= b), I'm getting
no result! (with the exact same search parameters)
This seems kinda strange to me and I'd like to know if anyone had heard
of such a behavior.
