python-ldap

Anyone can explain me why :
ldapobj.add_s(tmp2,tmp3) doesn't work
ldapobj.add_s("uid=123456789,o=test.crs4.it,c=IT",tmp3)	work,
where tmp2 ="uid=123456789,o=test.crs4.it,c=IT" ?
the message is :
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
  File "generator2.py", line 159, in scrivi_su_server_tutto
    ldapobj.add_s(tmp2,tmp3)
