This is due to ipv6 not being supported by the kernel.

is you configure -enable-ipv6=no

then you dont get the messge.

hi all,

i tried to install openldap in redhat 7.2 or above and in the log
i get this error. Why?

daemon: socket() failed errno=97 (Address family not supported by
protocol)
