openldap 2.1 aborting

Hi,

I updated my slapd from 2.0.23 to 2.1.3 and imported all my data without any problem. But now, if I do a search on ex. employeeType, slapd aborts with this assertion:

slapd: schema_init.c:554: UTF8StringNormalize: Assertion normalized->bv_len' failed. Aborted

Can someone please explain, what this assertion is all about ?
