Groups

Hello

Apologies for my ignorance, but I have a doubt regard how to manager 
User Groups.

When I create a new group with all attribute values (gidNumber cn, 
etc) and change an exiting user to this group and try to log, the 
system returns a message saying that theres no name for the group.

Which means that the client do not knows the new group. Am I right ?
I'm a little confused in how LDAP manage users and groups ! 

PS. I imported the users and groups from a system with migrationtools.

Any help please ?
