migration guide for 1.x -> 2.x / undefined attributes

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if a doc exists which explains
the differences of the schema setup between 1.x and 2.x.

We're having a real pain doing so.

We've added in an attribute, mirauid, which seems to be:

/ldap/etc/openldap/slapd.conf: line 27: index attribute "mirauid" undefined

although it is present in slapd.at.conf, slapindex totally borks on the
same error.

I've edited the qmail schema for our mail servers, adding in mirauid and friends,
included it from slapd.conf, but still no joy.

Can anyone shed some light on the problem(s) ?
