--enable-cache and the enable_ldap_cache function

I am curious I am experimenting with the options that you can compile openldap
with and the --enable-cache function I understand that it isn't enabled by 
default when you do ./configure. I was wondering is the reason for this is 
because most clients don't support client side caching or take advantage of 
ldap_enable_cache function.


Also --enable-proctitle is set for auto. I have been trying to
make heads and tail of this but what is the determinant of this 
being enabled I am trying to see what it is searching for.
