this depends greatly on your details - how complex are your LDAP schema and
database schema, how effective is your index set, etc.. - just as in any
RDBMS application... Some benchmarks of back-sql performance are available
somewhere in list archives - see Sam Drake's report.

Not that I'm aware of. After all, what other tool do you need besides T-SQL
or PL/SQL or whatever server-side language your RDBMS supports?.. LDIF is
not so hard to produce, the main problem can be to write it out as a file :)
