german "umalaut" won't work
Hello,
recently I wanted to upgrade from 2.03 on SuSE 6.4 to 2.0.11 on SuSE 7.2 and found that the insert of german "umlaut" into openldap gives errors.
hendl@host# /opt/openldap/sbin/slapadd -v -l leer1.ldif -f slapd.conf
slapadd: could not parse entry (line=51)
line 51 from "leer1.ldif":
postaladdress:: TWluaXN0ZXJpdW0gZvxyIFN0YWR0ZW50d2lja2x1bmcsIFdvaG5lbiB1bmQgVmVya2VociBkZXMgTGFuZGVzIEJyYW5kZW5idXJn
same error in case of contents like
postaladdress: äöü
error message in /var/log/messages:
Sep 25 08:06:59 lkvbb2 slapadd: str2entry: invalid value for syntax 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.41
I searched the archives but could not find anything according this problem. Can anybody help me?
